We were fortunate enough to be asked to photography a wedding of a really cracking couple at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park recently. We were really worried about the weather, as the day before we had lots of snow and it was overcast the whole day. Fortunately the sun came out and the actual wedding day proved to be a wonderful occasion with a clear sky.
Pemborke Lodge is well set up for hosting wedding ceremonies and receptions. Pembroke Lodge host between 3 to 4 weddings per week, and they are very efficient in running a beautiful and smooth running wedding.
The videographer for the day was John Harris from, a very professional artist with a natural eye and a desire to produce high quality wedding videos. You can see some of his stuff here.
The day started well with the bridal preparation, the bride was calm and relaxed as everything was well planned in advance. This gave us an opportunity to get some casual wedding photos of the bridal preparation.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Belvedere suite and was beautifully laid out in a red colour scheme. The wedding guest went outside for some very fast formal group shots, then back into the warmth for a very well run wedding breakfast. The dancing started and everyone had a really good party.
This couple are really one of the nicest people you will meet, it was a real pleasure to photograph their wedding and be their wedding photographer for the day.
